Medical Education Minister attends graduation function at RCDSR
Bhilai, Jan 12, 2019: For eradicating the problems being faced by the common people for seeking health services, the Chhattisgarh Government is going to launch a universal health coverage scheme. This scheme will provide trouble free access to the deprived and poor citizens of the state, said TS Singh Deo (Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education, Panchayat and Rural Development, 20-point programme, Planning, Economics and Statistics Dpeartment, Commercial Tax, Government of Chhattisgarh). He was addressing the Graduation ceremony of Rungta College of Dental Sciences and Research at RCDSR Lawn of Rungta Knowledge City, Kohka-Kurud Road on Saturday. Singh Deo distributed certificates among the students and assured to resolve all the problems being faced by the medical students. He added that all the issues in medical colleges will be resolved soon.
Special Guest Devendra Yadav (MLA Bhilai) too assured to resolve all the problems of the students. “I started my public life from students’ politics so I very well know the basic problems of the students”, he added. At the outset, Chairman Sanjay Rungta welcomed the guests in the programme. Delivering the welcome address, he said that Rungta College of Dental Sciences is among the few colleges of the country where post graduation courses of all nine subjects are available. The top-rated performance of the students at university level is a matter of pride for the institution.
Former students of the institution had gathered to attend the graduation function. Certificates were distributed among all the graduate and post graduate students of the college. The pass outs were administered the Hippocratic Oath during this function. Gold medals were distributed among all the students those who secured meritorious positions in the results declared by Aayush University right from the year of establishment of the college till session 2016-17. The students attended this function with their parents and family members. Santosh Rungta, Saket Rungta, Rajni Rungta, Harsha Rungta, Dr Pradeep Tavane (Dean); Dr Sur (Vice Dean); principals and faculty of all the colleges of Rungta Group were present.
