Bhilai, Dec 01, 2018: As per the announcement made earlier to boycott attendance on NISHTHA app from December 01, none of the Bhilai Municipal Corporation staff on Saturday registered presence via the app on their own. On coming to know about this, the Commissioner SK Sundarani called a tripartite meeting of the Swayattshashi Karmachari Mahasangh under whose banner the decision to boycott was taken and the representatives of the app. At the meeting it was agreed that none of the employee would use NISHTHA app and instead the representatives of the company would reach the head office, zonal offices and take the attendance of the officers and workers. The Manager representing NISHTHA app Sikhar Pandey agreed to sort out the problems being faced in using the app and so from the coming Monday, December 03, seven members of the company would reach the offices and take the attendance on mobile.
The Mahasangh representatives informed the commissioner that they have been supporting the app for the last one year but it is not properly designed giving rise to some complications in maintenance of attendance. The flaws due to which the attendance is not marked properly and shows error is resulting in deduction from salary. The Manager then explained the reason behind such error and agreed to the suggestion of the Commissioner to take the responsibility of attendance which was widely accepted by the Mahasangh as well.
