Bhilai, Jan 24: On Thursday, Tamradhwaj Sahu (Minister of Public Works, Home, Jail, Dharmasva, Religious Trusts, Tourism and Culture) inaugurated the newly constructed Shakuntala Auditorium in the premises of Shakuntala Vidyalaya in Ramnagar. Former MLA Bhajan Singh Nirankari was the special guest while Bhilai Nagar MLA Devendra Yadav presided over the function. The function was held in divine presence of Baba Hargopal Mastana Ji and Baba Sewa Ram Ji from Siddha Baba Balaknath Temple, Khursipar.
At the outset, programme began with the national anthem and lighting lamps at the portrait of Goddess Saraswati. The students presented colourful cultural programmes. In his address, Sahu appreciated the new auditorium and praised the Group Director Sanjay Ojha. He emphasized on developing faith on ‘girl child’ and promoting their education. Speaking about the importance of moral education, Sahu said that blind aping of western culture will take us away from our rich culture and tradition. He added that it is not too late yet and suggested the people to keep their families bonded with ‘sanskars’. Devendra Yadav suggested that social works and service to humanity should be the goal of every student. Former MLA Bhajan Singh Nirankari recollected his life memories and his journey from zero to peak.
School Director Sanjay Ojha got emotional while speaking about the blessings of his mother Shakuntala Devi and support of his elder brother Vipin Ojha. Administrative Principal SS Gautam said that the Shakuntala Auditorium was the physical evidence of Director Sanjay Ojha’s vision and commitment.
Manoj Kumar Pandey conducted the programme. Vaishali Nagar Shikshan Samiti President Bajrang Lal Joshi, school committee office bearers Mamta Ojha, Vibhor Ojha, Uma Devi, Lallan Tiwari, Lallan Dubey,Anil Singh, Subhash Paswan, Ramadhar Sharma, Ramchandra Mishra, Ashok Patro, Chandrakanta Paswan, Principal SS Gautam, Vipin Kumar, Gajendra Bhoi, Aarti Mehra, V Dubey, Abhay Dubey, Ranjana Kumar, Anita Nair, K Mitra, Archana Meshram, Baljeet Kaur, Anamika, Ashish Chandra Karmakar and the entire teaching staff were present.
