Event witnesses enthusiastic participation of Ayurveda practitioners, faculties, research scholars and students from different parts of the country

During the adverse and disastrous situations of Novel Coronavirus Pandemic, Ayurveda has gained more importance across the world. This ancient medicine system which is a comprehensive health system for human beings has provided great relief to the suffering humanity in the difficult times. State’s first private Ayurveda College – Rajiv Lochan Ayurveda Medical College (RLAMC), Chandkhuri, Durg is organising a series of webinars on various topics for keeping the faculty and students updated with the latest advancements and applications in Ayurveda. The Department of Kriya Sharir of RLAMC recently organised a webinar on the topic “Applied Respiratory Physiology in Covid 19”. About 604 Ayurveda practitioners, faculties, research scholars and students from different parts of the country attended this national webinar.
At the outset, the webinar began with chanting of Dhanvantari Vandana by Assistant Professor (Sanskrit) Guneshwari Sahu. In her opening remarks, Dr Vandana Fating (Principal, RLAMC) threw light on the related concepts of Ayurveda which were practiced to treat the Corona patients. Dr Manjusha Sonpipre (HoD Kriya Sharir) spoke about the relevance of the topic and its importance in the Covid era. Dr Yogeshwar Pandey (Assistant Professor, Kriya Sharir) gave introduction of the Keynote Speaker Dr Raviraj Pardesi who is the Professor and HoD of Department of Kriya Sharir at Jupitor Ayurvedic Medical College, Nagpur.
Dr Raviraj Pardesi shared significant information in a very simple manner on the topic “Applied respiratory physiology in Covid 19 scenario”. He explained about the effect of Corona virus on the respiratory system of the patient and analysed it in a practical way. He shared other vital information which will prove to be very helpful for the Ayurveda Practitioners and students. Dr Yogeshwar Pandey moderated the webinar and proposed the vote of thanks.
On the successful conduct of the webinar, College Managing Committee Chairman Prabha Sahu and Director Rajiv Sahu applauded the Department of Kriya Sharir for organising such informative and interesting events and congratulated all the professors, students and participants.
