Bhilai, Jan 20: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday said that Congress state government is following the teachings of Guru Ghasidas Baba. His teachings of truth, non-violence, love and solidarity is reflected in the working of Congress government. Babaji’s message ‘Mankhe Mankhe Ek Saman’ integrates the entire society. Baghel added that the Congress government has formed with support of people from all castes and religions. People from all walks of life have supported for forming the state government. The government is making best efforts for fulfilling the promises made in the election manifesto, CM said.
Baghel was addressing the felicitation function of Satnami Officers / Workers at Sector 6 on Sunday. The hosts welcomed the chief minister with a white turban. CM paid obeisance at Guru Gaddi and prayed for the welfare and progress of the state.
Chief Minister further said that at present there are seven MLAs of Satnami Samaj in Chhattisgarh. This reflects the unity of Satnami Samaj. The elected representatives of Satnami Samaj raised the demand of giving 16% reservation to the Scheduled Castes. Chief Minister replied that the state government is working for the welfare and benefits of the common people. He added that the government would make efforts for ensuring proper share of every caste as per their population.
