Bhilai, Feb 12, 2019: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel visited various villages of Patan Block the other day to express his gratitude to the villagers for showering their blessings on him. During his visit, the Chief Minister said that he has been going to every village in the Patan block since his childhood. Therefore, he has a deep relationship with the people of the villages. He said that the people of the region have blessed him for the fifth time and this time their blessings made him the Chief Minister of the state.
During his visit to village Amleshwardih the Chief Minister blessed the newly wed couple by joining the wedding ceremony. He also participated in the felicitation programme organised by the Chhattisgarh Manwa Kurmi Samaj organized in village Batang. In addition, he joined the Manas Gaan competition organized in village Ameri and Aundhi. Baghel said that people are happy to have Chhattisgarhi Chief Minister among them. People have thus been provided with the opportunity to put forth their problems and pains before him without any communication problem. He said that the government is working towards fulfilling all the promises made to the people of the state. Referring to the important decisions taken in the budget session, he said that now every BPL family will be given 35 kg of rice. Also, it has been decided to give rice to the family of APL class 10 rupees per kg. Electricity bill below 400 units of electricity consumption will be reduced to half.
Chief Minister Baghel stated that the four symbols of Chhattisgarh Narwa-Garuwa-Ghuruwa-Baari will be developed for the progress of the villages. Through this the economy of the villages will be strengthened. Chief Minister said that in the coming time, a concerted initiative will be taken towards liquor ban after taking opinions from all the prominent people from the society. He expressed his gratitude towards women, the elderly, the youth and all the voters for their blessings that paved his way towards forming the government.
