Bhilai, Feb 09, 2019: On Saturday, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended a function at Higher Secondary School situated in Village Marra. It needs to be mentioned here that Baghel is an alumnus of this school. He recollected the memories of school days and shared some interesting experiences. He sought blessing from his teachers and met his classmates. In his address, Baghel said that today he is chief minister of the state due to the blessing of his teachers and best wishes of the friends. He added that he spent the sweetest days of his life at this school.
He further said that the decision of opening the Agriculture College in Marra has been taken to promote and development agriculture in this area. This college will produce agriculture scientists who will take the agriculture sector to new heights. Baghel added that he learnt struggle from this school only. During school days, they had struggled for better arrangements at the school and the demands were fulfilled.
Chief Minister further said that the government has made 22% provisions in the budget for agriculture sector. Carrying forward the idea of “Naruwa – Garuwa – Ghuruwa – Baari”, the Chhattisgarh Government is making efforts for development of state by strengthening the rural economy.
Baghel further said that the loan waiver and Rs 2500 MSP of Paddy has strengthened the financial condition of the farmers. The effect will be visible in the coming three months. The farmers will utilize this extra money for fulfilling their desires.
